Guided Undergraduate Campus Tours

We’re pleased to announce that in January we are running Campus Tours of our Talbot Campus and the Bournemouth Gateway Building on Lansdowne Campus for those interested in studying an undergraduate degree with us in September 2022.

Our tours have been crafted to enable you and a guest to safely visit our campuses in person. You’ll have the opportunity to get to know the space you’ll be studying in and the many other great facilities available.

Please note: We may not be able to show you all campus spaces due to teaching taking place.

Book a Campus Tour

What to expect

  • The tour will be a walking tour and will take approximately 45 minutes. You will be given a guided tour by a BU Student Ambassador who will show you around the university, including inside buildings
  • You will be able to visit our information point to ask any questions you have on accommodation, fees and funding, additional learning support and much more.

Important safety information for your visit

  • All attendees need to have a negative PCR or rapid lateral flow test (LFT) result, taken within the last 48 hours prior to the tour, or proof of a medical exemption, and we reserve the right to undertake spot checks.
  • Bournemouth University currently requires that all students, staff and visitors wear a face covering in all indoor settings. We would therefore politely ask that you wear a face covering when indoors during your tour, unless you have an exemption.
  • You'll find hand sanitising stations across our campuses, signage and the NHS track and trace app for you to scan
  • You should not attend if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or test positive within seven days before the tour.

We can't wait to show you why it's not just the seven-mile stretch of award-winning sandy beaches that makes Bournemouth such a great place to study

Undergraduate Campus Tours

Come and explore Bournemouth University for yourself. We have crafted our Campus Tours to enable you to safely visit our campuses in person and talk to our staff and students to learn more about our BU community.

Self-guided Tours

If you’re unable to make one of our organised events, you are welcome to come and look around our campuses. We operate an open campus policy Monday-Friday during normal working hours, so you can explore BU at your own pace.

We’ve put together these self-guided tours to help you find your way around and to enable you to see the facilities and locations most relevant to your course:
