The Festival of Enterprise 2016 Enterprise Den offered young people from local schools and colleges the opportunity to take part in a full-day start-up business co-creation workshop.
This workshop was built around an authentic, real-world business development brief designed in collaboration with the council, local industry professionals and students, integrating a competition and prizes for the best concepts.
There were a range of interesting ideas produced to create new business opportunities, both in social enterprise and commercial contexts, integrating environment and sustainability considerations. The feedback from the students and supporting guests was very positive.
