Katherine is a cognitive scientist, science communicator and creative. Questioning the role of emotion in decision-making she explores how we can better leverage our creativity to innovate in this time of great uncertainty. She is cofounder of a female-led and award-winning, experiential neuroscience studio, Kinda Studios, and is the lead scientist on a radical new interactive documentary and the world's largest experiment in uncertainty, The Uncertainty Experts, created alongside Sam Connif. She drives connection and inspires social change through thought leadership and a network of world-class academics, creatives and disruptors.

As a consultant she has recently been helping  leadership teams from the likes of Nike, Netflix, Mercedez, Accenture, Bentley Yum, Nestle and Lego navigate through this turbulent time. She has led global leadership workshops for Lego and Apple and delivered keynotes on the topic of uncertainty and how to rewire our brains for this time of change, most recently for Nestle, Yum, Elvie, Apple, Sales Force, TPX, Diageo, What If, Media Arts Lab and Nike, and has been seen at festivals from CogX to Business Psychology and the Royal Society. 

Her sessions aim to inspire people to action through a better understanding, and excitement for the capacity of our brains (and bodies) to navigate change. An understanding that the fundamental change in our relationship with uncertainty must come alongside applicable skills and that this is a journey that can transform not just individuals but teams, with impacts across wellbeing, innovation and leadership at the level of the company. Jeff Dodds is the Chief Executive Officer of Formula E – the first FIA sanctioned electric world motor racing championship and the world’s first net zero carbon sport since inception.

Prior to joining the fastest-growing motorsport in the world in June 2023, Jeff was the Chief Operating Officer at Virgin Media O2 since its creation in June 2021 and before that at Virgin Media from 2019. In addition to working for Virgin Media O2, Jeff lived and worked in the Netherlands as the CEO of the telecoms business Tele2 and has also held executive roles at Callaway Golf, Honda and Volvo.

Jeff is the Chair of the disability equality organisation, The Valuable 500, and is a Non-Executive Director for UK Government at the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.

Jeff has an MBA, an MSc in International Marketing and an Honorary Doctorate in Business from Bournemouth University.
