Know the law when it comes to personal safety devices

Our local Neighbourhood Policing Team has noticed an increase in students in possession of CS gas devices - pepper spray/personal protection gas – and we’ve been asked to let you know these devices are illegal in the UK.

If you feel safer carrying a device on your person, personal safety alarms are a good alternative and are on sale in the SU Shop at a cost price of £1.90.
