We wanted to provide you an update on BU’s response to Covid-19. As of Friday 18 February, we are no longer able to hand out home test kits. We have finished our current stock and the government has stated that universities must stop distribution until further notice.
Please note, you will still be able to access home test kits online, or through your local pharmacy. More information about this can be found on the gov.uk website.
We are expecting to hear from the government early this week about further changes to national expectations for Covid-19, and we will work to respond to any updated guidance that is given. However, please be reassured that we will not make any immediate changes, and you will be given plenty of notice for any changes that are made in response to government guidelines.
This means that all of our current on-campus processes remain, including mandatory face coverings until at least 7 March. For more information about BU’s response to Covid-19, you can visit the BU website.
