
We're excited to open our call for BU students to apply for Turing Scheme funding to support two programmes run by British University Vietnam (BUV) during summer 2025.
Applications must be submitted before 21 February 2025. The two programmes you can apply for are:
Cultural Immersion Programme
This programme is open to all undergraduate students and recent graduates.
The programme includes:
- Welcome and Orientation at BUV
- Workshops on intercultural communication, Vietnamese culture, and wellbeing
- Cultural activities in Hanoi, Vietnam
- Work experience days
- Weekend field trip
- BUV Shark Tank project.

Work Experience Programme
This programme is open to students in the BU Business School, Faculty of Science & Technology and Faculty of Media & Communication who are interested in gaining work experience overseas in the following areas:
- Business (Business Management, Education, Events, Marketing or Logistics)
- Games, Computing or Cyber Security
- Hospitality and Tourism
- Arts, Design or Photography.
This programme includes:
- A traineeship at Vietnamese organisations to help you to improve your employability skills in Vietnamese and inter-cultural working environments
- Cultural activities organised by BUV to help you familiarise yourself with the Vietnamese culture and the work culture in Vietnam
- A preparation session organised by BUV which will train you on various essential working skills
- Final report/presentation about the knowledge and experience gained during the project.
