The UK Engagement Survey (UKES) opened on Monday 17 March 2025 and is an opportunity for all foundation year, first year and second year undergraduate students to share feedback about their student experience so far at BU.
UKES is run by Advance HE and asks questions that explore key areas of critical thinking, learning with others, interacting with staff, reflecting and connecting, course challenge, engagement with research, staff-student partnership, skills development and how you spend your time.
The survey is confidential and takes 15 minutes to complete and closes on Friday 13 June 2025. Your feedback will help us understand what you value, what we need to keep doing and where we can make improvements for the BU community. The survey is also carried out by universities across the UK, which means we can also compare how we are doing with other institutions.

Check your student inbox for an email sent on Monday 17 March from Bournemouth University <[email protected]>, which will include your personalised link to the survey.
As a thank you for your time, at the end of the survey you’ll have the opportunity to enter a prize draw for the chance to win:
