We want to make sure our postgraduate researchers (PGRs) have the best possible experience whilst at BU. To do this, we need to understand what you think is working well and what we could do better.
The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) is your chance to tell us about your experience as a PGR at BU.
PRES is run by Advance HE and asks questions that explore supervision, resources, research community, progress and assessment, skills and professional development and wellbeing.
The survey is confidential and takes 15 minutes to complete. Your feedback will help us understand what you value, what we need to keep doing and where we can make improvements for the BU community. The survey is also carried out by universities across the UK, which means we can compare how we are doing with other institutions.
The survey will close on Wednesday 30 April 2025.

Check your BU student inbox for an email sent on Monday 17 March from Bournemouth University <Doctoral [email protected]>, which will include your personalised link to the survey.
As a thank you for your time, at the end of the survey you’ll have the opportunity to enter a prize draw* for the chance to win:

We will also be making a £1 donation for every survey completed to the student mental health wellbeing charity, Student Minds.
