As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the experience of students and staff at BU, we are installing new lifts into Poole House Tower at Talbot Campus.
These upgrades will enhance the building’s accessibility for everyone. The new lifts will offer greater reliability, improved energy efficiency and an overall enhanced experience for all users.
The preparation survey works will begin on Thursday 19 June, with the lift improvement works starting on Monday 23 June.
One lift will remain fully operational throughout the improvement works, to ensure there is access to the upper floors.
The work is due to conclude by the end of October 2025.
