Thanks to the new Morebus Night Routes (N1, N2 and N5), you can now travel across Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch seven nights a week — all through the night.
N5 serves Talbot Campus, Winton and surrounding student areas — the most convenient route for many of our students
N1 and N2 follow our daytime M1/M2 routes, connecting key areas across town
Together, these routes fill the gap between late evening and early morning buses, meaning 24-hour service on our busiest corridors.
Why the night bus is a smart choice
1. Live bus tracking
- Use the Morebus app to see your bus in real time
- Aim to arrive at your stop 3–4 minutes early — buses can make up time along the route.
2. Onboard and stop CCTV
- Every bus has onboard CCTV (stored for at least 14 days)
- Around 250 bus shelters across the BCP area also have CCTV monitored by police control at Madeira Road
- If you ever feel unsafe, wait in a CCTV-monitored shelter and call the police, giving the name of the stop (clearly displayed on the sign).
3. Report non-urgent issues
- Text “BCP” + your message to 81018 to report any antisocial behaviour
- The BCP Council CSAS team (Community Safety Accreditation Scheme) will review and follow up the next day, using bus CCTV if needed.
4. Trained, supportive drivers
- Drivers are trained to assist anyone who feels unsafe
- You can stay on the bus until it reaches a safe location — just tell your driver
- Drivers can discreetly alert control for help if necessary.
Whether you’re heading home from late study sessions, work, or a night out, the night bus keeps you connected and safe — every night of the week.
