Submit your undergraduate research abstract by the extended deadline of Friday 16 January 2026 to showcase your work at the British Conference for Undergraduate Research (BCUR) in April 2026.
BCUR is an annual event dedicated to celebrating research completed by undergraduates in the UK and internationally. This year, the conference will be held at the University of Glasgow on 1 and 2 April 2026, in partnership with the University of Glasgow’s Let’s Talk About [X] conference.
This opportunity is open to UK and international undergraduates, including students who graduated last year. No matter your degree subject or area of interest, BCUR offers a unique platform to share your ideas and connect with the wider academic community.
Abstracts must be submitted via the University of Glasgow website before 23:59 on Friday 16 January 2026. Your abstract must be no more than 250 words and should outline your research question, aims, methods, findings, and significance.
Students with accepted abstracts will be invited to present their research as an oral presentation, poster, or creative submission at the conference in Glasgow. A registration fee will apply for those participating (£55 for one day or £90 for two days). Financial support may be available through your school or faculty - please check with your dissertation tutor or Programme/Course Leader.
