There are weather warnings for further heavy rain across Dorset, Hampshire and for the Yeovil area later today and overnight to Tuesday. This follows significant rainfall last week and could exacerbate existing flooding.
If you are travelling to campus, please take extra care and allow additional time for your journey. We will endeavour to keep the university campuses open for business whatever the weather, but please do be mindful of the adverse conditions.
In the event of disruption, please check for travel updates local to your area - often found through local media outlets - before leaving home and always follow local police travel advice.
Please note that we will only issue communications if any of our sites are closed and the university's campuses remain open unless specifically stated otherwise.
In the event that we have to close campus, we will post updates on Facebook, the BU website, the Staff Hub, and by email to all staff and students. You can also check the BU information line - 01202 968999 - for recorded updates. Please check at least one of these communications before setting off in the event of adverse weather.
