Our Sustainability and Marking & Communications teams have launched a new podcast for our BU community all about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
There will be a new episode every week where we invite guests from our BU community and beyond to talk about the SDGs. These will be released once a month, in chronological order from 1 to 17. You can find more about the SDGs and our reasons for starting the podcast in our introduction episode which you can listen to on Spotify, or SoundCloud.
In our first episode we spoke to Mel Hughes, Professor of Social Work, Debbie James, PIER member, and James White, SUBU Advice team about SDG 1 - No Poverty. We discussed the homelessness crisis, the cost of living, student hardship and how our BU community can support anyone affected by these issues. You can listen to the first episode now on Spotify or SoundCloud.
