We have a long-standing partnership with Manmohan Memorial Institutute of Health Sciences (MMIHS) in Kathmandu, Nepal. This summer we are pleased to be able to support up to three BU students to take part in research traineeships at MMIHS and now is your chance to apply.
This is an excellent opportunity to undertake research into a chosen field to support your undergraduate or master's research project. The research traineeships will be for a minimum of 28 days, and could be suitable for an elective in the health field, or a small-scale dissertation project in a health discline or related field. Research subjects could include, but are not limited to - midwifery, nursing, public health, sports and exercise science, media and health, health management, exercise physiology, psychology, migration and health.
Turing Scheme funding is available to support you with the costs associated in undertaking this activity.
Applications must be submitted before Sunday 16 March 2025. To learn more about the programme and apply, please read our call document.
