Workshops are open to all BU students, postgraduate researchers, staff and interested external participants. Sign up for our interactive sessions in May to support early-stage ideas and inclusive pathways to entrepreneurship.
Power Coaching and Mentoring
Monday 11 May, 2pm to 6pm – Talbot Campus
Join an interactive Power Coaching and Mentoring session with TechImpact Leader and TEDx speaker Padmasini Dayananda. Designed for those interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, and personal growth, this workshop will help participants build confidence, recognise their strengths, and explore practical next steps in developing ideas, ambitions, or entrepreneurial goals.
Every Mind, Every Idea: Diverse Founders and Futures
Tuesday 12 May, 1pm to 5pm – Talbot Campus
A practical and inclusive session for anyone who has ideas, curiosity and lived experience - but does not always see themselves in the traditional entrepreneur stereotype. d pathways. Designed for those who want to connect, reflect, and explore entrepreneurship in a supportive space.
Puppet Power: Reframing Systems Through Story, Voice and Play
Wednesday 13 May, 11am to 4pm – Talbot Campus
An interactive and creative workshop using puppetry, storytelling, and systems enquiry to explore inclusive entrepreneurship in practice. Designed for those who want to think differently and engage with complex challenges through dialogue, imagination, and collaboration.
Open Innovation and IP workshop
Thursday 14 May, 1pm to 6pm – Talbot Campus
A practical workshop exploring intellectual property for businesses and early-stage ventures. Designed for those who want to better understand how ideas, creative work, and innovation can be recognised, protected, and developed.
