Did you join Bournemouth University through Clearing? We’re looking for students to share their experience and help support future applicants.
Your story will be used across BU's channels to show what Clearing is really like and reassure students considering this route.
Paid filming opportunity
We’re offering a limited number of students the chance to take part in a filmed shoot on campus on Monday 18 May (we're also considering other dates in May). As a thank you for your time we will gift students who take part in the filmed shoot a £100 shopping voucher.
- Dates: Monday 18 May/potentially other dates in May
- To apply: Please send a short intro video (20 to 30 seconds) to our social media team at [email protected]. In your intro video, please introduce yourself, your course, and mention that you joined BU through Clearing. If you’re successful, we will be in touch with more information, location and time for the film shoot.
- Deadline: ideally Wednesday 13 May, but if you need more time let us know via the email address above.
Create your own content
If you’re not available on 18 May, you can still get involved by creating your own content.
We’re looking for:
- Short videos (TikTok or Reels)
- Story-style videos
- Photo posts with captions
- Quick advice or tips
- Blogs.
What to talk about
You can share any part of your experience, for example:
- Why you chose Clearing
- What the process was like
- Why you chose BU
- What student life has been like since
- Advice for other students.
Content guidelines
- Film vertically
- Make sure audio is clear
- Avoid copyrighted music
- Write in first person.
You can also include your course, year of study, and your favourite thing about BU if you’d like.
