Our Chamber Choir has gathered an enviable reputation and offers singers with some experience and sight-reading ability the chance to rehearse and perform challenging repertoire from the Renaissance to the present day. We regularly sing in prestigious venues such as Salisbury and Winchester Cathedrals, Christchurch Priory, Wimborne Minster and St. Peter’s Church, Bournemouth, as well as in various venues on our own campuses. Particular highlights each year are the carol service and the production of an opera in Poole’s historic Guildhall. Additionally, Chamber Choir members often perform as soloists in concerts with the larger scale University Music Choir and Orchestra. The ensemble is only open to students, if you're interested in joining please contact Ian Davis (Head of Music) for further information.

They perform at events in and outside BU, including competing alongside other universities, whilst also hosting their own events. The majority of members are singers, but they welcome instrumentalists too. Regular rehearsals take place alongside committee meetings.

Each year they stage a full-scale musical production in the spring term, alongside this they host three showcases which allows all members to show-off their hidden talents. PARTS isn’t just for performers, there are opportunities for students interested in tech, hair, makeup, costuming and more.
