Welcome to University Music. We offer a range of musical opportunities to students and staff of Bournemouth University and Arts University Bournemouth as well as to members of the local community.

The music practice rooms are available between 8am and 9pm Monday - Friday and from 9am - 5pm at the weekends. Please email [email protected] for further details.

Individual tuition with our tutors is available, either by Zoom or in person. Please contact us if you would like to book lessons.

Choirs and Instrumental Ensembles rehearse weekly during term time. If you are a singer or an instrumentalist, please contact us to discuss which ensemble would suit you.

Music Scholarships are offered to suitably qualified students who are willing to make a significant contribution to the musical life of our two universities. Please contact us to discuss eligibility. As a guide, you will need to have achieved grade 8 practical (ABRSM or Trinity) and either A level music (grade B or above) and/or grade 8 theory.
