Young Entrepreneurs: How to Succeed in Business

Inspire students into business and entrepreneurship and to explore the skill sets needed to succeed in a competitive business environment.

In a series of short workshops, three successful entrepreneurs will explain how they got their businesses off the ground, tell stories of the challenges they’ve faced along the way, and provide opportunities to explore the skill sets needed to succeed in a competitive business environment.

The speakers are:

  • Gemma Alcock – Founder and Managing Director of SkyBound Rescuer, an aerial technology company
  • Duncan Cook – Founder and CEO of 3 Sided Cube, a multi-award-winning digital agency
  • Samantha Everard – Chief Executive of Samee, a charity supporting employability and entrepreneurship
  • Jamie Sergeant – Founder and Director at Crowd, a leading digital marketing agency

We will also be joined by the Dorset Chamber for Commerce and Industry’s Young Chamber.

This event is free to attend for school and college groups and is aimed at Year 9 onwards. Transport/supply costs will be covered for participating schools or colleges.
