Through the Alumni of the Year awards, we seek to share the inspirational stories of BU alumni who have gone on to make an impact in line with the university’s stated purpose to “Inspire Learning, Advance Knowledge and Enrich Society”.
This is your chance to nominate your peers and celebrate the impact of their work. It could be someone you studied with, now work alongside, or simply admire from afar!
Nominations can be made by BU graduates and staff and this year we are looking for entries across the following categories. To make your nomination click on the categories below.
This award recognises alumni who use their knowledge and experiences to inspire others through education or professional development.
This award is for alumni who have gone above and beyond, and who are making a positive impact on the challenges facing society.
This award recognises alumni who lead change in their industry or sector through creativity and innovation.
This award is designed to recognise and celebrate an outstanding member of our international graduate community.
Through the awards we aim to recognise graduates who reflect the diversity of BU’s student and alumni communities. We therefore welcome nominations of alumni from under-represented groups and are also keen to hear how nominees have reflected and demonstrated BU’s value of Inclusivity in their careers.
The deadline for nominations is Monday 22 May 2023. We will announce the winners this summer.
