Guide to Postgraduate Open Evenings, Virtual Open Days and Campus Tours

During our Postgraduate Open Evenings, explore our campuses and you find out more about the course you're considering, as well as talk to our staff and students about all the important topics - accommodation, fees and funding, and what Bournemouth is like as a study location.

MA Social Work, MSc Adult Nursing, MSc Health Research, MSc Medical Imaging with Management, MSc Mental Health Nursing, MSc Nutrition & Behaviour, MSc Physician Associate Studies, and MSc Public Health will be represented at our Lansdowne Campus. For these courses, you will need to book a 30-minute slot with an academic.

For our Health & Social Sciences taught degrees*, you will be able to check in from 17:00 at our Bournemouth Gateway Building (BH8 8GP) on our Lansdowne Campus. You will need to book a 30-minute slot with an academic.

For all other courses (including Postgraduate Research degrees), check-in will take place from 17:00 on the ground floor of the Fusion Building on our Talbot Campus (BH12 5BB).

Public transport links to and around Bournemouth are excellent, with bus services from Bournemouth Rail and Coach station to Talbot Campus throughout the day taking approximately 15 minutes. You’ll be able to use the U1 UNIBUS service (bus stops are accessed near the station, opposite the co-operative food shop) or morebus, which serve the station directly.

If you are travelling to Talbot Campus by car, parking attendants will be onsite to direct you to where to park. There is limited parking though, so we cannot guarantee a space.

If you are travelling by car to Lansdowne Campus, limited pay and display parking is available at our Bournemouth Gateway Building. In addition to this, local pay and display car parks are available - the closest being Cotlands Road Car Park (BH1 3BG).

At Bournemouth University we have two main campuses, Talbot Campus which hosts the majority of our courses and facilities, and the Lansdowne Campus, which is home to the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences. Unfortunately there are not many hotels within walking distance of our Talbot Campus. However, here's a list of hotels near our Lansdowne Campus, which will have direct bus links to our Talbot Campus if you are visiting there:
