World Mental Health Day is recognised on 10 October every year, and for many of us, it's a reminder to consider our individual health, including how we take care of it.
At BU, we have a wide variety of support and advice which can help with personal or academic issues. You can find more information about the different support on our Health and Wellbeing Support webpages. If you're concerned by a wellbeing matter, please seek help.
Do you know about the University Retreat?
If you're struggling to cope and feel yourself reaching crisis point, the University Retreat, based on Talbot Campus, provide a confidential, safe and welcoming space where you can speak to support workers, volunteers and peer specialists – all of whom have experienced mental health issues. You don't need an appointment; just pop in to Tolpuddle Annexe 2 between 2pm and 9pm, Monday to Saturday and talk to one of the friendly team members. Find out more about the University Retreat.
