On Tuesday 11 November, we mark Armistice Day, when we take the time to remember the service and sacrifice of all those who have lost their lives in conflicts since the end of the First World War. As is customary in the UK to observe a two-minute silence at 11am, if you would like to pay your respects in this way, and are able to do so, please do take this opportunity.
If you are not observing the two-minute silence, please respect colleagues, students and visitors who may be doing so on our campuses.
If you are not able to mark Armistice Day at 11am, our Faith & Reflection centre at Talbot Campus is open throughout the day, offering a place for contemplation and prayer or simply a quiet space to spend some time.
We know that there are conflicts ongoing around the world today and that members of our community may be impacted by these. You can find details of support available to staff and students on the BU website.
