About PTES
The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) helps us gather important information about the experience of our postgraduate taught students on Master’s courses. The survey is also carried out by universities across the UK, which means we can compare how we are doing with other institutions. PTES covers students’ experiences in the key areas of:
- Teaching and learning
- Engagement
- Assessment and feedback
- Organisation and management
- Skills development.
How to take part in the survey
The survey will run from Monday 17 March until Friday 13 June 2025 and will take around 15 minutes to fill out.
To take part, look out for an email sent to your BU student account on Monday 17 March from Bournemouth University <[email protected]>, which will include your personalised link to the survey.
Your responses will be completely anonymous in that they cannot be identified to you. All BU will ever know is how many students responded to the survey, along with a breakdown of your collective responses.
As a thank you for your time, you will have the chance to opt into our free prize draw* when you take part in the survey. Prizes on offer include:
- 2 x £200 shopping voucher, choice of either Amazon or Love2Shop
- 4 x £100 shopping voucher, choice of either Amazon or Love2Shop
- 15 x £25 shopping voucher, choice of either Amazon or Love2Shop.
*The full prize draw terms and conditions and PTES 2025 privacy notice are available.
