Learning and disability support

Please note: The deadline to register for support for the May exams, is Thursday 24 March 2022.

No action is required for ALS students with previously agreed exam adjustments - for information you can view these via myHub.

If you do not yet have agreed adjustments, by Thursday 24 March you need to:

  • Register with Additional Learning Support via MyHub (you must complete and submit your registration)
  • Provide evidence of your disability/condition
  • Contact ALS in one of the following ways:
    • By calling in to an ALS Office:
      • DLG17, Ground floor of the Library building, Talbot Campus, between 9am - 1pm or 2pm - 4pm, Monday-Friday
      • EB501, Executive Business Centre, Lansdowne Campus, between 10am and 4pm, Mondays only
    • By calling ALS on 01202 965663 or 01202 961581.

If you have an additional learning requirement or need any kind of assistance during exams the Additional Learning Support team can provide whatever learning support you require and make the necessary arrangements for you.

You will need to register with ALS through MyHub to ensure that any requirements can be put in place during the examination periods. Your application must be properly documented by medical or other evidence and submitted to MyHub or directly to the ALS Student Coordinator as early as possible in the academic year. If you are an international student, please be aware that your evidence needs to be in English.

Important: Please be aware that it may take up to nine weeks to get the necessary evidence for exam support, so allow plenty of time when applying.
