Virtual concerts,  music lessons and choir

Our music scholars are recording regular virtual concerts which are available for you to watch anytime online.

Virtual music lessons are currently held for students and staff and are available on all instruments, including voice. If you are interested, email musicadmin@bournemouth.ac.uk. Our virtual choir will meet every Thursday between 7pm - 8pm, please get in touch if you would like to join us.

Professional recital series

A series of Sunday afternoon concerts, in association with Bournemouth Chamber Music Society, bring artists of international repute onto campus. For more details of future concerts please visit the BCMS website.

Lunchtime concerts

Students and staff present thirty minutes of music from 1.15pm on selected Fridays in South House Theatre, Arts University Bournemouth. Admission is free and all are welcome. During Semester 1 it is envisaged that the majority of these will remain online. However, we hope to resume live performances during Semester 2 and more details will appear here as soon as possible.

Evening concerts

Larger scale evening concerts take place throughout the year in venues such as Christchurch Priory, Romsey Abbey, Guildhall Poole and St. Ambrose Church in Westbourne. We hope to resume live performances during Semester 2 and more details will appear here as soon as possible.
