100 years of the BBC

Celebrating the centenary of the BBC and our work in the creative industries

This autumn, the Faculty of Media and Communication at Bournemouth University celebrates its deep relationship with the BBC with a range of events inspired by the BBC Centenary. Each department within the faculty draws on their unique identities to contribute to a range of events as well as celebrating the success stories of staff, students and graduates working in the creative industries.

From audio listening challenges to engaging with young reporters on the go, from TV special effects lectures to a symposium discussing the evolution of the BBC. There’s so much to our relationship with the BBC. Take a look at the schedule of events below and a scroll through BBC stories from our alumni.
