ResLifeBU stress-buster roadshow
Our ResLifeBU team has organised activities in and around your halls to help keep you calm and balanced this exam season.
The ResLife dogs will be joining the team for a series of stress-busting roadshow events that will tour all BU managed halls, providing:
- free professional head, neck and shoulder massages
- craft workshops
- cuddles with the Reslife dogs
There's no need to book and the full schedule is below, so pop along when you can to say hi!

24/7 access to The Sir Michael Cobham Library
To support your exams, The Sir Michael Cobham Library on Talbot Campus is open 24/7 between 23 April and 31 May. As a result of student feedback, The Library Learning and Support Team have also recently opened a new comfy corner on the first floor of The Sir Michael Cobham Library to provide a space for you to relax, chat, get lost in a book or meditate.

Get involved with sport
As well as the activities run by SportBU, The Dorset Mental Health Forum run free weekly sessions on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday which include football, gym, table tennis and more. All students are welcome, and no booking or previous experience is required – simply meet the team at the SportBU reception.
Library and Learning support workshops
Throughout the year the Library and Learning Support team run a variety of workshops, including exam preparation, maths, and dissertation support. These workshops are aimed to get you up to speed in key areas you may feel weakest in.
You can find out more about these workshops and book your place on the Study Skills pages on Brightspace. A recording of the revision & exam techniques workshop is available for you to watch online at any time and will give you a taster of what these sessions involve.
Looking after your wellbeing
It's a really important time to look out for yourself and your friends. Find advice for managing exam stress and make sure that you know how to access a doctor, in case you need to.
Find advice from both the NHS and your peers while you're preparing for exams and make sure you're fully prepped with our exams dos and don'ts.
