“My team and I (Bournemouth University first team) ended the year strongly, winning the BUCs cup, finishing second in the league and winning against Solent University on Varsity day.

“I was also put forward for the England Universities team, however due to Bournemouth Town commitments I was unable to attend. I have enjoyed every moment of this year with my amazing team. I was also involved in Bournemouth Town first team, which play in South Central Division 2, playing teams such as Oxford Hawks and Reading Hockey Club.

“I then finished the season playing in a summer league, which has been great fun. I have been keeping fit throughout the summer, going on runs, using the university gym and going for walks along the beach. This is all to get ready for the season in September.

“For the coming season, I will be playing for Teddington Hockey Club, which will allow me to develop with a new team and enhance my skills.”
