A successful university placement with Honda gave Dev his first step on the career ladder after graduation.

He went on to handle PR and internal communications for the company in the UK and then CSR strategy for the whole of Honda’s European operations. He is now a member of the Internal Communications Team at Virgin Media, supporting company-wide communications, campaigns and events, as well as co-chairing the employee BAME network. Outside of work, Dev is actively involved in projects which focus on diversity and representation.

In 2019, he became a mentor for #BMEPRPROS, which nurtures BAME talent and pushes for greater diversity within the communications industry. He is also on the advisory board for #BMEPREPROS Blueprint, a kite mark for diversity in communications, and facilitates live events, talks and workshops for organisations and charities to raise awareness of issues facing BAME and LGBTQ+ communities.

What their colleagues say

“Dev has made a big impact during his career so far in the Virgin Media Internal Comms team. He is an uber-connector, building relationships that really count across all divisions and levels of the business. In a short space of time, he has already moved across different teams building his breadth of knowledge, experience and understanding, and I look forward to seeing what is next to come in Dev’s, no doubt, illustrious career.”
