Sa'id Haruna

Sa’id began a charity project during his first year at BU which was later incorporated into a non-profit organisation centred on research, development and implementation of specialised learning programmes for children from low-income, low-literate communities.

Initiative for Aid & Educational Development (IAED) has since hosted 20 events including summer schools, a scholarship programme, social activity sessions, seminars and charity sports events.

The organisation has recently embarked on a recycling programme which aims to educate local communities about the dangers of environmental pollution, as well as equip local communities with effective recycling and waste management methods and resources.
