Hannah became one of the first students on the degree in English to embark on a work placement, and her experience at CPLG - a licensing agent in London – proved to be pivotal for her future career.

Following graduation in 2013 she was offered a full-time position back at CPLG as a Brand Manager, working on brands including WWE, Sesame Street and ACTIVISION.

Hannah quickly rose through the ranks, landing in the retail team where she was responsible for some of the largest branded activations between 2015 and 2017, including the England Rugby babywear range at Mothercare, Teletubbies going to London Fashion Week and The Minion Movie retail activations at Harrods and Very.

These activities led her to be nominated for a UK Licensing Rising Star Award. Hannah moved on to work for literary-based brands at Coolabi before joining her current employer - The Point 1888.

She has since managed brands including LOL Surprise, Team GB, The British and Irish Lions and St Andrews Links. Hannah won the Licensing International Global Rising Star Award in 2020 and has also won internal company awards including Human of the Year in 2019 and the Resilience Award in 2020, for helping drive the business through the early stages of the pandemic.

Hannah says: “Every year I come back to Bournemouth to meet with my course tutors and run lectures about the licensing industry for a mix of students across English and media courses. I love to give back to students and inspire them about an industry they may never have thought of. I am so passionate about licensing, and have been able to use my degree in a huge amount of ways.”
