Relevant courses are accredited by the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED) and are delivered by industry experts. You can study different aspects of design and/or engineering, all of which will provide you with all the practical skills you'll need once you enter the profession.
We continually update our courses to ensure they reflect changes within the design and engineering industry and our technical workshops, laboratories, equipment and CAD facilities give you the chance to develop and hone practical skills throughout your course.
You will be encouraged to undertake a work placement as part of your course, giving you invaluable experience in the industry and making you highly employable when you graduate.
In your final year, you'll also showcase your work in our annual Festival of Design and Innovation, presenting your project to professionals within the design and engineering sector and having an excellent opportunity to interact with potential employers.
Our dedicated laboratories and technical workshops are equipped with the latest machinery, including a Stratasys Fortus MC360 large-envelope rapid prototyping machine and eight fifth-generation Makerbot 3D printers.
