In the seven years since his graduation, Adam has used his skills to develop his career with IFSE; a specialist in restaurant design and build. Here he works with brands such as M&S Cafes, King's College London, BBC, Sky and The National Trust.

Having joined the company as a sole marketeer, Adam’s role was to develop a marketing strategy that would dramatically increase brand awareness, open up new markets and new business sectors for them to operate in.

Due to his hard work, he has been promoted from Marketing Executive to Marketing Director and now sits as a Commercial Director, taking responsibility for the sales and marketing team combined.

Adam says: “I wouldn't have been able to achieve this role, or my success within the business without the skills developed from my university course, as well as the hands-on experience throughout my placement year. My advice to anyone at university would be to take a sandwich year and consider a small business for your post-graduation career path as being a big fish in a small pond can work to your advantage.”

What their colleagues say

Adam joined IFSE as a Marketing Executive straight out of BU and quickly gained promotion to Commercial Director. With full Board engagement he is acknowledged as the future MD of our company. It is no exaggeration to say that his marketing skills saved our company during the Covid period and his input has continued to make a huge difference to the impact IFSE has within our industry. He is educated, driven, talented and a fantastic team member. He cares about everyone in the company and works very hard to maximise our potential within our market and his input means that we are now seen as one of the premium brands within our industry."
