Matthew Frost

Following his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at BU, Matthew used his experience and knowledge to secure a Junior Videographer role at Mash Media.

Since joining the company, he has worked in collaboration with his manager to expand the department to lead its own portfolio (Mash Productions) and grown it as an independent production company. This has involved taking on their own clients and developing a sales and marketing function; utilising skills Matthew developed at BU.

Matthew has since been promoted to Videographer, and has worked on events including ComicCon and Eurovision, at locations such as the Royal Albert Hall and M&S Bank Arena, and on charitable events such as One Day At Christmas.

Matthew says: “When I joined, the videography department worked solely on internal productions. I used my acquired knowledge of filming and editing from BU to adapt to the job, working to deadlines and for real clients, similar to modules I had at BU which prepared me for this.”
