Futsal at SportBU

Missed TeamBU Trials 2021?
A game of futsal between BU players in SportBU and AFC Bournemouth kits

Over recent years, futsal has become an increasingly popular sport in England, including among university students. With similarities to 5-a-side football, it’s mainly played indoors on a hard court with a smaller, low-bounce ball and is a fast-paced, exciting sport.

Futsal is recognised as a competitive sport in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS). If you’re a highly skilled and talented player, you can try out for TeamBU Futsal - our male and female performance sport futsal teams. They represent BU nationally in BUCS leagues and competitions throughout the year.
