Whether you are looking to develop your talents to a more Performance based level for the following year, or simply to join a club, keep practising and make friends – this is for you!

New for 2021-22, we are setting up a Table-Tennis Club in SportBU. With a Qualified Coach and professional player on hand to offer development tips and techniques, as well as lots of match play opportunity. Equipment is provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own bats too.

If you’re wanting to take your game to the next level and are successful in trials, you’ll represent BU in table tennis at a national level in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues and cups.

As a valued member of TeamBU, you’ll also have lots of support both physically and emotionally, including practical advice on how to balance your studies and budding table tennis career.

In particular, all TeamBU athletes have access to a Level 2 (or higher) coach for their specific sport, exclusive use of our high-performance gym on Talbot Campus and regular Strength and Conditioning sessions to keep you in the best physical condition.
