All of the undergraduate courses in our Accounting, Finance and Economics framework are accredited by the main accountancy bodies in the UK. As a graduate of one of our degrees, you would be exempt from some parts of the professional qualifications offered by: 

  • Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
  • Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
  • Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

Exceptional undergraduates on our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance also have the opportunity to gain the ICAEW’s Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business at BU in their final year, which will significantly enhance their career prospects.
