Kaustubh Phatak has drawn on the skills and experiences he gained during his MBA at BU to launch his own digital marketing agency.
Kaustubh, who completed his MBA in 2011, came to Bournemouth from India to gain new international experiences. He said: “I wanted to be part of an international learning environment and to get a more global outlook by studying alongside people from different parts of the world. I also wanted to upgrade my qualification to support my future career.”
Having previously worked in real estate and business development for a commercial interiors company, Kaustubh has now launched SOCIAL RECIPE to provide digital marketing products and services for clients.
He said: “It has been a wonderful journey so far and I have used all the skills I garnered during my MBA programme at BU. It gave me tremendous confidence and helped me to become a more polished professional. Coming from the course I felt I could interact with professionals from different spheres of industry with ease.”
When asked for his advice to other international students, Kaustubh said: “Be open minded n order to make the most of the international environment. Always be willing to learn and above all enjoy your time at BU.”
